Concrete Floor Multi Planing
Nationwide Diamond Contracts can offer a concrete and floor multiplane service to remove and texture concrete, asphalt and other flooring surfaces including paint, grease, line markings and concrete slurry. With petrol, diesel and 110 volt machines available and also the 316 dust suppression system used, this helps minimise the amount of dust created within the working environment.
We are geared up to work unsociable hours to suit client needs and demands.

Contractual Services
Concrete Floor Grinding and Multi Planing, Wigan, Lancashire
Nationwide Diamond Contracts have been awarded the contract to plane and grind an external concrete floor slab in Wigan, Lancashire. Client Cemex Materials UK Limited awarded Nationwide Diamond Contracts the project largely due to their experience and knowledge in this field and extensive stock of specialist grinding and multi planing equipment stored at their Howden premises. The tamp finish left by a local contractor was too coarse for the client’s requirements and so Nationwide Diamond Contracts were called in to remove the high spots using the DFG 400 carborundum grinder and plane in grooves using the BEF 200 Concrete Multiplaner. The carborundum grinder operates by constantly rubbing 12 number carborundum stones over the surface of the concrete at a speed of 333 rpm. The BEF 200 Multi planer acts differently to the grinder in the way that 18 number tct cutters plane through the slab at a speed of 2,833 rpm.
