Nationwide Concrete Flooring has been working on a laser screed concrete flooring project in a retail park in Tamworth, Staffordshire which is a new development on behalf of PDR Construction. One of the units at the site totalled 2,000m2 which Nationwide Concrete Flooring easily achieved in one pour using their SXP Somero laser screed concrete flooring levelling and compacting machine. The flatness tolerance required was fm2 special and so concrete supplier Cemex had to provide Nationwide Concrete Flooring with a regular supply of quality concrete in order for the pour to be carried out smoothly in just one day.
As almost always the client opted to have instant seal 101 concrete slab joint sealant placed in the saw cut induced contraction joints and steel angle installed at the doorways to help ensure long lasting protection at the edge of the internal concrete floor slab.
