Nationwide Concrete Flooring has recently installed a fibre reinforced concrete floor slab in Kittle near Swansea. The area of 2,450m2 was poured in just one day utilising the Somero SXP laser screed concrete levelling machine. The laser screed enables Nationwide to achieve accurate flatness tolerances and also to ensure concrete compaction during the laying process. Concrete of a high workability and consistency was supplied by the local Cemex Readymix concrete plant. The fibre reinforced concrete was then powerfloated using both “ride on” and hand held powerfloating equipment by Nationwide Concrete Flooring’s experienced finishing and polishing team.
