Vinyl Floor Coverings Removal and Clearance
The Nationwide Diamond Group specialise in the removal and stripping of vinyl floor coverings and carpet tiles from concrete surfaces. With the recent purchase of specialist equipment specifically designed to remove floor coverings Nationwide Diamond Group can now remove unwanted surface coatings extremely quickly.
The multi stripper negates the requirement of slower clumber some hand scrapers and hand power tools. This not only makes the multi stripper a safer option but also is much more reliable in terms of time schedules.

Concrete Floor Slabs for New Office Buildings at Goole, East Yorkshire
Nationwide Concrete Flooring Ltd have constructed a new concrete floor slab at the world headquarters of Croda, In East Cowick , Nr Goole, East Yorkshire.
The concrete flooring contract entailed the installation of a 400mm deep shutter to the perimeter of the building, the trimming of the final layer of sub base material, the laser screed levelling of the concrete, the saw cutting of the joints and finally the sealing of the joints with our very own Instant Seal 101.
As you can see form the photographs the installation of the concrete floor slab was particularly awkward due to the access restrictions. Despite this Nationwide Concrete Flooring still managed to complete the contract within the required time scale.
Concrete Floor Slab Crack Repairs and Grinding, Levi Flagship Store, Regents Street, London
Nationwide Diamond Contracts have been contracted to carry out the repairs to cracks within the concrete floor slab for prestigious client Levi at their flagship store in Oxford Street London.
The Levi Store is currently undergoing a multi million pound refurbishment of which we are extremely proud to be involved with. Our repair work to the concrete floor slab had to take place over weekends as the areas had to be clear from other trades.
Once the cracks (see adjacent photo) had been resin anchor fixed together we left the material proud of the finished floor level to then grind off the next day.
Repairs to Concrete floor Slabs in Distribution Warehouse Goole, Yorkshire
Nationwide Diamond Contracts have completed repairs to the damaged construction Joints in a busy distribution warehouse owned and operated by Humber Maritime Ltd of Goole in East Yorkshire. The Job is only a stone's throw away from a repair contract we previously carried out at the Tesco distribution centre also in Goole.
As you can see from the photograph the construction Joints had been badly damaged due to the heavy trafficking from forklifts. Nationwide Diamond Contracts had to work to extremely tight deadlines as the warehouse was very busy due to the client's current workload.
Materials used for the concrete floor slab repairs were carefully chosen to limit any potential down time for the client and improve the longevity of the concrete floor slab repairs. Concrete Flooring for New Agricultural building Newark, Nottingham
Nationwide Concrete Flooring has completed a new concrete floor slab, along with external perimeter shuttering for a major farming company in the Newark area. The concrete floor slab was cast in just one day thanks to the Nationwide Concrete Flooring workforce and the excellent service of ready mix supplier Newark Concrete.
If you look at the adjacent photographs you can see the difficulty we had installing and fixing the shuttering to the perimeter of the concrete floor slab, due to varying depths required.
The next photograph shows the completed job once the shuttering had been stripped and the concrete floor slab had been power floated.
The construction joints were installed post completion of the concrete floor slab using our specifically designed floor saws.
Once completed the joints where sealed with our very own Instant Seal 101. The Instant Seal 101 is a great product for any agricultural building as the joint remain sealed and bonded, even in the wet see ajaunt photos. This makes the cleaning of the concrete floor slab easier for the farmer or end user.
Saw Cutting, Concrete Flooring, Concrete Floor Grinding, and Diamond Core Drilling, Derby, East Midlands
The Nationwide Diamond Group has been able to offer the companies full range of services on a project for a new £25 million pound East Midlands Railtrack terminal in Derby, Derbyshire. For the first time this year we have had both Nationwide Concrete Flooring and Nationwide Diamond Contracts working on the same site on the same day.
Contracts have been saw cutting a concrete floor slab to a finite detail where the concrete slab meets the rail track itself. We have also been concrete floor grinding where there is a requirement to dish the concrete floor slab surface and leave polished for the surface finish.
Hundreds of holes have been core drilled using the diamond core drilling rig for the incredible amount of M&E equipment installed within the building.
The Nationwide concrete flooring division have all so been in action forming the high tolerance powerfloated concrete floor slabs to the platforms. The tolerances are very tight due to the fact that everything is computerised regarding the train maintenance equipment and so for the system to work a level platform is required.

Grinding & planing of concrete floor slab, Cotswold School, Bourton - On the Water Gloucestershire
Nationwide Diamond Group has successfully completed the concrete grinding and concrete planing of an internal concrete floor slab to provide a new sports hall floor in this picturesque part of the country.
A site inspection took place to survey the level of tolerances of the concrete floor slab then Nationwide Diamond Group immobilised the following day in order to assist the client meet their extremely tight deadlines. The grinding work took a total of 6 days to carry out due to the uneven surface finish of the concrete floor slab.
The grinding of the concrete floor slab was also carried out co insight with the repairs team filling the words within the concrete floor slab.

Internal Concrete Floor slab, Market Weighton Nr York, for an agricultural grain store
Nationwide Concrete Flooring have successfully completed a 1,300 m2 internal concrete floor slab for a new grain store for a farming company SP Stephenson.
The internal concrete floor slab design was agreed between the two parties in order to prolong the life span of the concrete floor but to also make it cost affective for the client.
The usual finishing touches to the Nationwide concrete flooring system where also included in the package. These are our unique surface finish fit for purpose for grain stores all joints sealed with our Instant Seal 101 and heavy duty steel angel at the door way interfaces.

Concrete Floor Repairs, Northamptonshire
Nationwide Diamond Contracts Limited carried out various concrete floor repairs at the mechanical and engineering plant at Higham Ferrers, Northamptonshire.
The urgent concrete floor repairs were required due to the immediate handover of the building to new owners.
Nationwide Diamond Contracts obtained the official order on the Friday evening and commenced the initial saw cutting works the following Monday morning. The extremely tight schedule meant that Nationwide had to complete within a 5 day period or liquidated damages would be incurred. We then drilled and dowelled using our unique drilling and dowelling system to install 12mm round 300m long steel dowel bars at the rate of 1 every 3 minutes including resin anchoring.
A team of men then used trench rammers to lay and compact the finely tuned sub base material which was brought in especially via Humberside Aggregates, (01430 421503)our partner company and main supplier of all our aggregates.
Nationwide Concrete Flooring then stepped in to complete the concrete floor repairs by firstly laying and then power-floating to a full polished finish the completed concrete floor slabs. The client was immediately and fully satisfied.

Concrete Floor Slab Repairs Burton On Trent, Staffordshire
Nationwide Diamond Contracts carried out Concrete Floor Slab repairs and the removal of a damaged concrete floor slab on a large distribution Centre in Burton on Trent, Staffordshire.
The project entailed numerous different activities which included joint sealing concrete floor slab repair, concrete planing, concrete grinding, concrete slab removal drilling and dowelling.
Due to the great British weather the project was carried out over the period of approximately 3 weeks.
With the Nationwide Diamond Contracts extensive range of plant and equipment this project was ideally suited to our company as all the necessary equipment could be delivered to site in one go.

Internal Concrete Floor Slab for Poultry units in Nottinghamshire
Nationwide Concrete Flooring ltd have just completed their first coloured internal concrete floor slab for a major egg processing unit in Nottinghamshire.
The internal concrete floor slab pours were carried out using polypropylene fibre technology over a two day period. The saw cut induced contraction joints were then cut the next day to suite the design of the floor slab.
A grey coloured Instant Seal 101 was used as a colour match for the joint sealant in order to blend in with the colour of the internal concrete floor slab.
The adjacent photograph shows our laser screed concrete floor laying system and hard working and dedicated staff ensuring the floor is laid to the highest standard.

Concrete Floor Slab Repairs and Sealant of joints at Rustin’s Paints London
Nationwide Diamond Contracts have recently completed the repairs of concrete floor slab cracks and a damaged construction joints at Rustin’s Paints in London.
The project in theory looked simple and indeed was with the benefits of our in house concrete flooring experts. As you can from the photographs the construction joints was severely damaged.
Nationwide Diamond Contracts firstly saw cut flush to the full depth of the existing concrete floor slab. We then drilled and dowelled into the existing slabs using the Nationwide drilling & dowelling system (as shown in the contracts section of our web site). A high strength concrete was then laid and compacted to the required finished floor level and powerfloated smooth. The following day a joint was installed and sealed with our own product the Instant Seal 101.
